VITO recognized that they needed an online marketplace to promote their services and connect with a broader audience, including the general public. They approached Cyrex with a request to build the perfect Remote Sensing Marketplace Platform that would help them achieve this goal.

Solution

The Cyrex development team worked closely with VITO to build an extensive Marketplace on top of our API Suite product framework. Our solution enabled monetization, open-source contributions, and resourceful features like billing and reporting, all of which helped VITO create the perfect services offering. With the developed Terrascope Marketplace, VITO could share their algorithms and workflows with the user community, without worrying about the technicalities of publishing a service.

By publishing their algorithm as a service, VITO has significantly increased their visibility, exposure, and reach to a broader audience that provides valuable feedback. The Marketplace relies on standardized web interfaces, making it easy for users to access services. Each service has an attractive visual description, providing an overview of its capabilities.
