Developed by Iron Galaxy Studios and published by Epic Games Publishing, Rumbleverse stands as an exciting and fresh addition to the gaming world—a free-to-play, 40-person Brawler Royale that offers everyone the opportunity to become a champion. Cyrex was absolutely thrilled when we were given the opportunity to perform load testing on Rumbleverse. In close collaboration with Iron Galaxy Studios and Epic Games Publishing, our experienced engineers were contracted to conduct comprehensive load testing on both the backend and gameplay services of the game. The primary goal of our testing was to evaluate the scalability and performance of this captivating online multiplayer experience.

Throughout the testing process, we simulated an impressive volume of virtual players, with over 10,000 active participants engaging in legitimate in-game user actions. This rigorous approach allowed us to thoroughly assess the game’s capability to handle the demands of a large player base, ensuring smooth gameplay and an enjoyable experience for all participants. Through close collaboration with the development team, Cyrex diligently identified and resolved performance issues and scalability bottlenecks that were impacting the optimal functioning of Rumbleverse. Our expertise and efforts played a crucial role in ensuring a successful launch for the game right from day one. By addressing these challenges head-on, we helped to enhance the overall performance and scalability of Rumbleverse, providing players with a seamless and enjoyable experience from the moment the game was released.
