Challenge

To ensure the utmost security and safeguard the reputation of its Defi platform, 0xBlock proactively engaged Cyrex Enterprise to conduct a comprehensive and rigorous penetration test. The test was designed to simulate a targeted attack on the platform, allowing 0xBlock to identify any vulnerabilities and address them promptly to ensure the platform’s security and integrity.

Solution

Cyrex was given complete access to an application and all user privileges. This access was granted for the purpose of conducting a security testing exercise to identify any potential vulnerabilities and determine the impact and possibility of a security breach.

During the testing process, Our team acted in a manner that simulated a malicious actor, which means that they attempted to exploit any potential weaknesses or vulnerabilities in the application in order to gain unauthorized access or perform actions that they shouldn’t have been able to.

The purpose of this testing was to evaluate the application’s security posture and determine how well it would stand up to a real-world attack from a malicious actor. By simulating a potential attack, Cyrex was able to identify any weaknesses or vulnerabilities in the application’s security defenses and provide recommendations on how to improve them.
